Like this, design, tests and practical quality management inspection are the basics of the production of new valves and key items which decide the quality of valves. PK Valve is engaging in a gamut ranging from 3D design, its core competitiveness, to tests.
SD CAD Design
PK Valve has 60-year-long experiences in designing valves which are used for important lines such as nuclear power, petrochemical and oil refinery and gas. Our company designs products to meet requirements of customers while reflecting international codes and standards (ASME, ASTM, AWS, etc.) and using 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor®). Moreover, we supply electric, pneumatic and hydraulic drives optimized for line conditions of customers.
PK Valve carries out structural, flow, earthquake resistance, heat delivery and solidification analyses of 3D CAD-designed valve information by utilizing ANSYS Program. Therefore, we conduct optimized design by checking whether or not valves satisfy requirements of customers and international codes and standards.
Confirming Design Validity
PK Valve is carrying out all tests needed to confirm design validity such as tests of internal pressure, leakage performances, operation of valves and cryogenic tests of valves by its own test facilities. In addition, our company is carrying out demonstration tests of flow coefficients, pressure drops, natural frequencies and operations by using its own QME-1 est facilities. In addition, we conducted demonstration tests of earthquake resistance, natural frequencies, operations and the quantity of flows in compliance with requirements of customers for motor operated valves.
